This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Hey everyone...i've finally put a new piece up on my art...and the great thing...its all me..penciled, inked and soon...colored. I'm happy with the Iron Man Art because its my very first venture into ALL DIGITAL DRAWING. I've been fighting it for a long time now...but that seems to be the way things are going now...don't like it because i still like working with my hands...but now i'm using my hands with a wacom tablet...Cintiq...here i come..I WANT ONE OF THOSE DAMN THINGS!!!!!!
I really dig ur stuff man...i've read freddie williams' book and i just found ur blog page talking about digital comic art...i like that we have all these new artists up and coming with a style that can easily be mistaken as hand drawn and they tell us its digitally drawn..i love it...i don't feel like a fish out of water any longer...u and sara pichelli has shown me the errors of my way that i've wasted years of...
thanks again for show me the errors of my ways.
don't get me wrong...i still and will always enjoy inking and drawing by hand...but now i can do the stuff thats in my head alot better and alot faster.
Well thanks, man I really don't think there's anything to consider an error, though. I trained traditionally, and still see a lot of value in it. I've just found that digital works better for my sequential art. Do what you enjoy and what helps you produce the best art you're capable of - be that traditional, digital, or whatever! But best of luck with whatever route you take!
Thanks David, i was taught traditionally too...i'll never give that up...i love inking and will never stop that. but i do find that i can do alot more digitally than traditional...but thanks for the words of incouragement. looking forward to seeing ur ultimate comics spiderman.
Hi Diana, wish i can say things are going great. just working on a couple of indie stuff for now...making new sample pages for ALL the editors i know...i've been keeping an eye on u girl and ur doing some really good stuff...i'm happy for u.
Hope all is well with u and look forward to always talking to ya
Hey at least you're inking, right I took a break last year and worked some day jobs, but getting back into the game recently. I'm hoping to find some work in the next month or two Fingers crossed. I've done a few one page fillins to help projects make deadline but that's all so far.
Hope things get busier for you and better Are you going to NYCC next month?
I want too...very badly...because i do want to get a lay of the land...because i'm thinking about moving to the east coast. but i might not get there in time for the show. i have my fingers crossed for u as well girl..trust me...i know about having to do day jobs..i'm part timing at Big Lots right now.
